Obama refuses the wear American Flag pin

The Voter's of the great Commonwealth State of Virginia have spoken
and now that the kid gloves are coming off.. thought I would post some of the more controversial things coming across the desk.
Obama refuses to wear his American Flag pin, saying that after 9/11 the American Flag pin, and I am paraphrasing .. had become passe because everyone is wearing one. Do'h! and his patriotism can be explained by his words--- whatever happened to actions?

This Morning at the Fort Hunt Polls

The promised photos of the Fort Hunt Polls this morning.

Yep it was a slow morning, with the weather reporting SNOW!! All plans being rearranged as I write this,,since even though we are known as NORTHEN Virginia, when it snows, it may as well be the Deep South.. all milk and toilet paper is cleaned off the shelves.--as usual.

However, after stopping at the Safeway to get my emergency...:) snow provisions of coffee and soup and juice, I headed over to Fort Hunt Elementary to do my duty. I saw that the polls were not crowded and no lines. One lone Fairfax County Democrat setting up a table, a friendly young woman, who had the Obama sign in front and the Hillary on the outside, photos will be included.

I was sort of irritated to find.. although, it really is the best thing, that since in great Commonwealth of Virginia, that we have declared parties, that I had to either select a Republican, red ballot or a Democratic, light blue ballot, in order for them to select the computer screen that displayed the HUGE list candidates that both parties have on the ballot. Of course,, the ballots were not alphabetized and all the candidates that have ever run are still on the ballot, including Dennis Kinichovich. ok so I can't spell--and including Fred Thompson.. yadda yadda

So in order to select ONE candidate for the Presidential Primary, you had to look at two Slates with all names, then wander over to the station where the Republicans and Democrats sat, side by side, pick a vivid color..LOL

then walk across the room, and go into the so-called private voting booth,, with the camera overhead, LOL,, because the PRIVATE VOTING COMPUTER screen is about as big as an HDTV, High Definiton TV screen with flashing lights and all, I thought I was playing pinball for a second. there, :)

Then I watched Obama say next to nothing last night at the Richmond speech. Like Joe said, I wonder if Hillary Clinton thought she was losing her mind when she listened to Obama say exactly NOTHING other than a rant about Washington DC insiders.
To quote Doug Wilder, former Virginia Governor, and the only "Afro-American" to be elected.. in the grand Old Commonweath:

The Media supports Obama, even though he is behind.. for sure, he does not have the Delegates right now.. and he at this point is clearly behind. the Media contiunues to claim he is the winner, even though he is not,, Hillary Clinton, whom I well. let's face it, I have disliked for ten years. even though she is the better candidate has clearly won this round and will win the Democratic Primary, unless the Super Candidates secretly change their vote.Ok go back to the game
The Media ballyhous Obama and he somehow finagles the nomination, WOW .. so that means any real Republican, and that would be me, even though I have huge Libertarian bones in my body.. would be thrilled because there is no way Obama can beat McCain
HELLO, it appears that.. we have another prediction, McCain will win the Presidency and let's see, perhaps Jeb Bush for VP and Huckabee in there somewhere.
Wow.. and all because the big mouthed Media couldn't shut the Boink up.
So much for an election. Let's just appoint a King, after all we are a Republic right?

Super Tuesday Projection

Even though I have had a serious flu for the past two weeks, I am getting better finally today on Super Tuesday

and just to remind everyone, being an old political hack and poll watcher and media dicer..and slicer..LOL

I so love all this brouhaha.. ha ha about Obama and I did threaten to publish a cartoon about him in the White House demanding Andrew Jackson's crystal ashtray,, after he won,,and throwing away his Nicorettes, and lighting up the hundred year old Cuban cigar.. but I got the Flu,, so I will settle for a projection tonight, and no statistics involved .. just good old fashioned 30 years of watching the polls and pundits

But before I tell you who will win the Super Tuesday,, I found it extra amusing that Virginians.. even Northern Virginiians.. supposedly urbane and sophisticated politicos did not know that our Super Tuesday ..is scheduled for February 12th.. Maybe I should have posted this yesterday before some folks headed down the to voting sites that were NOT open.
